The Cultural Neighborhood of Sykies is delimited by Akrita, Elpidos, Meteoron and AL. The Cultural Neighborhood of Sykies is delimited by Akrita, Elpidos, Meteoron and AL.Papadopoulou str. It is a consistent and direct testimony of the city’s history from Byzantine period till the placement of refugees. A series of human experiences, communication and connection in space, during the years. The area can be described as an independent or autogenous settlement. It is inhabited by more or less 150 persons, old (refugees or refugees successors) or new tenants. Activities of alteration can be occasionally found. There are no stores close to the Wall. The proposed landscape gardening is about an independent and separate part of the whole project – phase B and C- and it refers to infrastructure directed to cultural uses and the upgrade of the touristical product of the Region of Central Macedonia and of Thessaloniki, in particular.
